| 1168156 | 2011-01-08 13:07:00 | halsey street in the Auckland cbd was blocked off to vehicles early this week for road works. Anyone know how I can drive into halsey street as there are no detour signs? | 64etert (15489) | ||

Am assuming only part of Halsey is blocked off and you need to find other streets that lead into Halsey ? |

Because the contractors are just working in the centre lanes, there's only one lane available in either direction. They've left the traffic lights working and traffic wanting to make turns are stationary while waiting for their arrow signal - and backing up traffic behind them. Took me 12 minutes to drive from Albert St to Tangihua St yesterday - and that was a Saturday with little traffic. |
