1168116 2011-01-08 07:46:00 Sky is annoying me.

It seems that some channels are louder (or quieter) than others. Why is this!? Surely it's not that hard to normalize the volumes on all channels?!

1168117 2011-01-08 08:08:00 Normalizing the Volume would compress the sound even more than it already is.

We don't need even more compressed sound.

1168119 2011-01-08 08:47:00 It's even worse when going from TV to some DVDs - our TV is normally set to around 20 for volume, but to watch one Harry Potter film, we had to turn it up to 60! :horrified pcuser42 (130)
1168120 2011-01-09 08:08:00 I also noticed last week on the 70s channels that the volume of the ad breaks is way lauder than the program content. paulw (1826)

1168122 2011-01-09 08:16:00 I hardly watch tv at all. That's what the internet is for. But since TvShack was seized, its now harder to watch my favorite shows. goodiesguy (15316)

Sometimes you skate on very thin ice regarding copyright issues do you not? :)
