Comments: Rang on behalf of ex-customer on 29th Dec as they had a Dynalink modem in stock - Nth Shore showing 1. Explained to guy who and why it was for. I paid straight away and emailed him bank screenshot. He said he'd get it to her quick smart (she was at the other end of the country).
Rang yesterday as no sign of it to be told they didn't in fact have it in stock, error on their site. Arranged to have a different brand/model sent instead. Insisted they email me the tracking number. Just rang back a few minutes ago as no tracking number and no correspondence at all. Now they tell me yet again, error on their site and they din't have one of these either! But not to worry it's coming from another branch. That is, coming to them!! I asked why it coul;d not be sent direct to the customer - no, that's not how their systems work.
Remains to be seen if I actually get a tracking number later on this too.
Pathetic excuse for customer service. They could have at least let me know all this - both times - before I had to ring them back to chase it up.

1167855 2011-01-07 01:37:00 PB are known for crap service. Selling to a customer, as always any idiot can usually do without issue. It's when there's a problem it turns to ****.
Doesn't surprise me, I should have known better.
They have until 4:30 before I cancel the whole thing.

1167856 2011-01-07 01:41:00 Where's your customer pctek ?? SP8's (9836)
1167857 2011-01-07 01:50:00 I bought from them just recently.

My goods arrived all OK.
But their automatic systems are not well set up to sell to out of town.

The online store with the best online ordering system imho is elive.
But PC tech seem to be cheaper.

1167858 2011-01-07 02:00:00 They only ship their online orders from their Penrose branch, not from any other store. Each branch also has individual "Accounts", so if you have a dealers account at Penrose, it's not specifically valid in the CBD, or North Shore branch, unless you've also signed up.

If there was only one item in stock at the North Shore branch, and none anywhere else, it's entirely possible it was sold earlier that day by the North Shore branch and wasn't able to then be couriered to Penrose to then be shipped across the country.

1167859 2011-01-07 02:01:00 Meh PB has never been my choice anyway. It's either CL or Playtech for me. CL mostly though. qazwsxokmijn (102)
1167860 2011-01-07 02:59:00 I only buy from PB Tech if cash is all I have, that way I can go and purchase my goods in person. pcuser42 (130)
