1166997 2011-01-04 19:58:00 I have an old Aldis Slide projector which I inherited from my parents. I suppose it is about 50 years old. Anyway, was using it recently and the slides started melting if you left them in for any longer than a couple of minutes. I found this very strange so took the bulb out and found it was 500 watts. On the projector it says use a 300 watt bulb. So I'm looking for a 300 watt bulb for it. Done a bit of a google search and found a NZ site who sell projector bulbs, didn't find what I wanted but left them a message with what I wanted, but not very hopeful as I think they deal in bulbs for projectors for DVD/TV etc. The bulb has written on it Condor Holland and a model number. Any ideas where I may be able to get one if at all.

Just opened my Aldis and looked at the bulb which is the original it is a Philips 7212 N/05 and is a 300W as you say.

Not sure if this helps.

1166999 2011-01-04 20:25:00 Yes the fan works. Thanks. Is your bulb 110v or 240v. There is one like yours for sale on Trademe for $28 but is 110v. I want a 240v one.
