| 1201222 | 2011-05-18 08:08:00 | try and get an DX10 gpu, anything from the nvidia 8000 series or ati HD2000+ series will be brillaint. directx10 lets you use hardware acceleration for flash videos. for old computers its like having dualcore pretty much. |

Check those capacitors when you get it, if they say "FZ" they are total junk and should be replaced on sight. (known to randomly explode and kill cards) Luckily that card uses SMD ones so they would be easy to replace ;) |

I did bid on a dx10 card last week, but was outbid at the last minute. Plus all the games i play are directx 9. |

RS Components or Farnell is where I get mine, cost depends on brand and specifications, it's hard to say without knowing what you need in the situation. However, there may be nothing wrong with yours anyway. |
