Haha that could be funny :p

Unfortunately they're never going to give you their phone number. Start asking too many questions about their phone number or where they're from and they just hang up :(

1202288 2011-05-15 22:21:00 Their first question is "Do you have a Windows computer"? If you want to cut the call short, then say no. If you want to have some fun ... :devil

I thought I'd have some fun, but when I answered "No" they said goodbye

Lost count of how many calls we've had, probably 5 or 6. Last time I put on an Indian accent and yelled that they have a virus on their computer, and I need their credit card number to fix it. Repeated it a few times and I heard a confused "hello" somewhere in there. Caller ID displays this long-as number, so I knew what the call was. Looks like maybe a bot calls first just to confirm the number is active, then they call back a couple of hours later.

Mat had something like that the other night, his wife said that she didn't use the computor so they rang back about 1/2 an hour later, hubby took the call and acted dumb for about another 1/2 an hour before they clicked on

1202290 2011-05-16 02:48:00 They've been real quiet around here for a long time, I had about 10 calls over an 8 or 10 week period then it just stopped dead. Maybe they skip unresponsive numbers after a series of calls fail to score?

Sure is quiet without them but it became a pain in the fundamental orifice after a while. :annoyed:

1202291 2011-05-16 03:22:00 The only one I have had is them trying to get you to give them your credit card number by pretending to be your bank. Mind you I have caller display on my phone and if a dodgy looking number comes up when someone phones I don't answer it.

1202292 2011-05-16 10:55:00 My friend who doesn't know much about computers was called by this indian guy and was told his computer had a virus... He gave it to his brother and then they started talking and he nearly got fooled into the scam. Luckily, He just got tired of clicking everywhere not knowing what to do and hung up after 2mins.

I want one of those calls and ill get them sooo mad!
