Grunting is just poor sportmanship, but hey when ever was sportsmanship a factor in professional sport - its all about money. To quote the late Gary Mull (Yacht Designer and IOR Secretary 1978 -87) at an address at the RORC in 1979 ; The relationship between professionalism and sport is the same as that between prostitution and true love, with one difference - prostitution is more honest. His other comment on the topic worthy of note ; "To those who say a little commercialism in sport is OK, I have this to say - there is no such thing as being slightly pregnant" |
