1168080 2011-01-08 07:19:00 New school subject needs to be added to the curriculum.

"How to set fire to your school without leaving the building"

So that's the Arson 101 curriculum. Hopefully, no further courses will be necessary ...

I was at a BBQ about 1km away last night, and we saw the first smoke plumes. We weren't sure at that point if it was the school, or a neighbouring P Lab had gone up. Whatever, yet another indictment on our general sense of lawlessness.

I guess everybody immediately thinks recalcitrant kids. Or P Labs.

Has anybody stopped to consider if the school was set ablaze by bored old age pensioners, desperate for some excitement in their lives after watching countless cooking / chef / reality shows on TV? :devil

1168082 2011-01-08 07:40:00 What I don't understand, with school fires so common, why a large wooden block built only 2 years ago is not equipped with sprinklers, surely is that not fire protection 101. tutaenui (1724)

1 They are run by teachers who know nothing ?
2 They are owned by the government which does not mind wasting our money

1168084 2011-01-08 21:26:00 I've just come up with a good way to solve the crime problem.

Chain all truants, layabouts and criminals in school buildings each night.
