1202876 2011-05-17 12:19:00 Hello!

I am having a real headeache with excell. I im trying to work with multiple spreadsheets on different monitors, but excell is so stubborn that it keeps all it's sub-windows locked inside the primary window.
Anyone here knows how to "tell" excell i want a spreadsheet displayed on the 1st monitor and another displayed on the 2nd monitor?

And another question: I have a cell that contains a formula that references values from other spreadsheets. I want that formula to take values from C colum like this : C1, C2, C3, etc.... and values from D column like this: D1, D1, D1, etc... (lock the formula to the value of D1 cell). Anyone know how can i "lock" the formula?

Thank you!
Matei

Bon Jour and Welcom to PresF1.

To lock a formula in, we always use the "$" sign, C$1, C$2, C$3 and with Lotus123 which used to jump columns on multiple spreadsheets once in a while, $c$1 etc.

Lurking.

Ps. I much preferred Lotus Symphony, especially with three monthly reports with a final Total Spreadsheet for the annual totals.

lurks.
