Took a month to deliver (!) and now been waiting for the licence disc/stickers etc to arrive so I can activate for the last two weeks. What should I do ?contact microsoft? D. |

2011-05-17 02:02:00 | A COA should have been attached to the box already. Did you get installation media and is the COA in the DVD case? | Snorkbox (15764) | |
2011-05-17 02:11:00 | Nope. No stickers, no discs, no COD, no DVD box, no shrink wrapped anything. Just a case (and the wrong graphics card - I cant be bothered argueing) D.

2011-05-17 02:19:00 | Based on what you say contacting Microsoft may be the best answer I suspect. | Snorkbox (15764) | |
2011-05-17 02:25:00 | The PC could be built and W7 installed without a COA, but realistically, even having to order the DVD which comes with the COA -- over night if ordered before 3pm - two days at the most. Currently its 1.24pm, If I ordered one now from suppliers in Auckland, and I'm in wellington, I would have it by tomorrow morning 7.30am (comes via courier).

2011-05-17 03:03:00 | In the mean time, open a command prompt (type "cmd" into the 'run' field of the start menu) and enter "slmgr -rearm" then reboot. That will give you another 30 days before you have to activate windows. you can do this 2 or 3 times :) | pablo d (15490) | |
