1202615 2011-05-16 23:07:00 Just a heads up. I have been a longtime fan of their filter as it has been eerily accurate with virtually no false negatives or positives.

However, over the last few weeks it has been moving what look like perfectly innocent 'normal' emails into the spam folder. So far three senders have been affected.

This has been embarrassing as I am not in the habit of logging onto the site (I pop to TB) and checking the spam folder very often. Having to do so now is a right PITA.

Anyone else found this? I suggest gmail users check.

1202616 2011-05-16 23:11:00 yup, have had users who used to scan documents to their emails without any issues, but had 3 users 2 weeks ago who didnt receive any scans, got them to log into the web access and found the scans in the spam folders :groan: ronyville (10611)

1202618 2011-05-17 00:21:00 I have only ever had two false positives and no negatives. One just recently.
I log on about once a week otherwise there can be too many to make life easy.
I have noticed that in the last about nine months there are far fewer spam email there.

As a matter of interest does it still do it if the invoice has been compressed.

1202621 2011-05-17 02:37:00 Hmm never had a false positive in Gmail. I pop to Outlook and that occasionally decides to put regular contacts into the spam folder but that's not often enough to be a worry gary67 (56)
1202622 2011-05-17 10:36:00 Once or twice Gmail gets it wrong but its still a zillion times better than my previous life with xtra/yahoo mail Ofthesea (14129)

If so, for a while now, if you send out an invoice from the program, and it goes to an xtra address, their Spam filters stop it.

Only way I have found around it is to print off the invoices as PDF, then attach to a email - that works fine.
Its a PITA - having to set the default printer to the PDF writer before sending

..as in "Repair & Compact"? Not sure if I've re-sent one at a later date or not. I think it's just flagging them as they're "from me, to me" via my isp's smtp, rather than google's.
