| 1169481 | 2011-01-13 02:01:00 | HP are 1/2 hr away from being taken to Disputes/Fair Go, whoever. Utter crap non-service, been waiting months, and they had the cheek to get a survey company to ring me today (from Australia again) to see how my "experience" with them was. so far they have -10 on a scale of 0 - 10. |

| 1169483 | 2011-01-13 03:13:00 | The printer prints 1200 odd pages out of a black cartridge. Great. It should print 700 colour. However it counts the total number of pages printed and then at 700 approx says colour is empty, even though it hasn't done anywhere near that amount of pages with colour on them. So I made the mistake of contacting HP in the lovely Australian "Customer Care" centre. They decided (eventually) the printer is faulty (I have to allow them that) and would send most of a replacement. However there has been every excuse under the sun why they have not done that and you go round and round various departments while they all blame each other, admit it's a screwup and it will be sent in 3 days. Repeat until crazy. Today I rang NZ. After two attempts where the receptionist dumped back in the Aus Customer care queue I made her put me through to any Manager she liked to get them to sort it. He just rang back and said that HP has been split (so what), and each dept works independantly (really?! no kidding) and they had amde a stuff up and had been wanting confirmation of my details (bollocks, they've had them 5 times already) and now it will be sent. I asked him to email me a tracking number today, he said they might need to ring me again. Hah. They have until tonight. I'm sick of it. |

| 1169489 | 2011-01-13 19:06:00 | Apple too? Especially Apple - except they don't have the same volume of big corporate customers as the likes of M$ or HP... Their crap service over my iPhone issues was a key to my getting a Nexus One - they wouldn't fix the calendar bug that was reported and commented about on their forum for months by hundreds of users, nor did they ever respond to my Trouble Ticket that I lodged over the same issue. (I understand it's still not fixed - I reported it in April last year!) They are certainly a big enough company to employ sufficient staff to respond to user's concerns - they obviously choose not to. So I voted with my feet. |

Happens with pretty much all big companies Had to ring Telecom a few weeks back to get a site line installed in what is pretty much a farm paddock, needed two seperate numbers and a net package. Had a prick of a time even getting my call answered, then had a prick of a time trying to get them to comprehend what I required, After a number of hours I had pretty much accomplished sfa and I was getting mighty ****ed off. Then I'm informed the company I work for is part of is part of the Managed Customer Care system and we have a separate number to ring for service. I ring it. Phone is answered immediately, within seconds they have confirmed who I am, where I work, my location, within 5 minutes they had established what I require and have put it into the system to be done. A few minutes later I receive an email with confirmation. 2 days later its all up and running :groan: |
