1168912	2011-01-11 20:16:00	My new TV only has what it calls "Digital Audio Out (Optical)" for connecting external speakers. No RCA out or 3.5mm. The problem is, my speakers only have a 3.5mm connector. Is there an adapter or cord which I can get to connect the speakers up? Is it even possible? Cheers	xyz823 (13649)
1168913	2011-01-11 20:39:00	That's not for connecting directly to speakers - it's designed to go into an amplifier or home theatre receiver with a dolby digital decoder. For example if your TV received freeviewHD, you can plug an optical cable from the TV to the home theater receiver and listen to TV3 in 5.1.	wratterus (105)
