| 1168335 | 2011-02-25 23:12:00 | While I would love to check and adjust the laser I do not have an oscilloscope, so don't think I would be able to do much. Buying a new laser assembly may be the better option, really. 6 months extra is not bad but I guess you need a new one after that anyway so why not buy a new one now... Ultimately this is why I like the sound of loading the games from the hard drive, saves the laser even more and they should load faster too. Also you can run emulators etc and install Linux I think. Sounds like it could be quite fun... |

| 1168336 | 2011-02-26 21:47:00 | You just need to increase the laser current by a small amount, first mark the pot with a black marker so you know where it was set then adjust, say, 15/20deg clockwise and the try and see if it works again if no, try returning pot back to previously marked position then try anticlockwise.
