1203864 2011-05-21 06:04:00 How can I remove the "Install Chrome" on Google.nz when I open I Explorer?
It even does it when you have Chrome installed already!

This question has been asked before.

There was an answer to it in a thread before but really the only way to get rid of it is to use Chrome.

Open Google and set the home page to Google.com,not google.co.nz, ( see arrow in attachment) and the install Chrome disappears .

Go into the internet options once on google.com, reset that to the home page, and doesn't return.

1203867 2011-05-21 08:28:00 I don't want to use google.com as I wish to have the option to search for NZ sites.
In my opinion IE9 is a far better browser than Chrome. Maybe I will try to use the FF start page.

1203868 2011-05-21 08:34:00 You could try using this for your home page perhaps.

http://home.nzcity.co.nz/

It has a search box up the top with quite a few options and you can also personalise the page.

I have set the Home page on IE as www.google.co.nz works fine.

Using Firefox 4.0.1 and there's no "install Chrome" button :D

Adblock Plus probably helps :p
