| 1203830 | 2011-05-21 05:25:00 | New Samsung cell phone is not showing up when I connect with usb. When I first connected, I was asked to get drivers etc, having done that, I can't transfer pics, or in fact get any recocognition in "my computer" Thanks lads. |

If you're just wanting to transfer pictures off it, you'd normally need to put it into the correct mode first, which will cause it to present itself as a USB Mass Storage or MTP/PTP device. Simply transferring photos off the phone does not usually require an extra driver, but using the phone as a modem usually does (unless using the Vista / Win7 RNDIS driver, or presenting as a USB ethernet device). Which model of phone is this? |

Note that you need to have the default storage location set to the SD card for them to show up there. Looks like the software is here (www.samsung.com)I don't think that's what he needs Speedy ;). |
