| 1203407 | 2011-05-19 22:44:00 | Recently tried to print a page of a Word document that someone had sent me to my printer HP 8500. The printer whirred and clicked and did its thing except that it didn't pick up a sheet of paper and I got a "run out of paper" error message. I changed paper, reset printer etc etc with no better results. Finally I did a print test page from the printer which worked as did a print test page from the computer! Funny! Tried to print the page again and still the printer wouldn't pick up the paper. Printed another document which worked perfectly. Finally cut and pasted the page I wanted into a new document and it printed perfectly. Never struck this before and it seems so strange that the printer was obviously receiving a message to print but not picking up the paper. Any ideas why? |
