| 1203368 | 2011-05-19 22:21:00 | Just notice that the Languages Optional Updates have disappeared from MS updates. They were still there 2 days ago. I'm running Win 7 Ultimate. |

| 1203369 | 2011-05-21 02:19:00 | Googled and came up with this (www.sevenforums.com) But the " regservr32 %windir\%system32\wups2.dll " is not recognised. Can anyone help? |

| 1203370 | 2011-05-21 02:32:00 | If the updates are active, the regserv may not work. Did you actually stop the service first ? net stop wuauserv > enter regservr32 %windir\%system32\wups2.dll >enter net start wuauserv > enter |

| 1203372 | 2011-05-21 05:06:00 | OK looks like I found the problem - I managed to reproduce it as well. After stopping the service, the actual command is: regsvr32 %windir%\system32\wups2.dll Thought something looked a little odd with the % positions and spelling. Note space after regsvr32 and the first % Its also spelt regsvr32 not regservr32 -- Common mistake, I do it sometimes when not concentrating :) Thats running from a command prompt, run as administrator |
