2011-01-18 22:32:00 | bk T could be a muslim. :) Trev, you are extremely imaginative, and I would like to make a wild guess that you are anti-muslim.:D Whatever my religion is, is not relevant to this discussion but I'm NOT a muslim! I don't discrimate any religion, in fact, I respect all of them, they all teach us to be honest, etc., etc. But if anyone can prove that the US invation of Iraq is JUST and for the good the people in that country, and that there was 'mass destructive' weapon found in Iraq, and not because of the oil, then I'll change my mind to support the US!

2011-01-18 22:48:00 | I read mainstream history. (and for my major interest I try to get original sources) What do you read ? ... What's your 'mainstream' source of history? Well, here are mine: In NZ, I read NZ Herald, watch TV1, TV3, local papers. Internationally, CNN, BBC, Washinton Post, The Straits Times, and most of the medias in Singapore, Hongkong, Taiwan, and China. I was brought up, educated in a multi-lingual, multi-racial environment and therefore, language is not a barrier for me to read and comprehend the main languages globally. Can I assume that you only read those news and history resources from the West?:D Pardon me if I am wrong.

2011-01-19 00:31:00 | @BK T I am native English speaking, but I can read a little French and some Spanish. My current affairs sources are fairly basic. The Herald, TV1, BBC World, CNN, China News (English version). Huffington Post, and lots of economic blogs. But I read a lot of history books, World War I and II and the Napoleonic era.

No one can prove that that US and UK invasion of Iraq was just. It is well accepted that Saddam Hussein was not just. I don't believe the invasion was for oil. Has the USA taken over all the Iraqi oil fields ? I think not. The new Iraqi government gave out oil rights to many ol companies. Is all the Oil money going to the USA ? The one mistake the US made with its invasion was in not having a plan for after they won. It is well accepted now that they should have kept the Iraqi Arm,y in being and paid their wages. They would have kept order, and the insurgency which rage don for years would not have happened. And one of the posters above made a good point in that the Iraqis did not really put up much of fight, and there was no huge guerrilla war against the US and UK troops, as would have been the case if they had wanted to keep Saddam. |

2011-01-19 04:08:00 | Any way Does anyone have any more comments on the memory stick and the Iranian centrifuges ? The "reason" for Iran to defend itself and become a nuclear weapons capable nation is not exactly off topic, considering the article talks about the US and Israel trying to stop them. The OPS original Post does not say anything about Iranian centrifuges? that's your interpretation of the topic, if anything the topic is about US and Israel cyber terrorism tactics.
