1169836 2011-01-15 11:23:00 Walk back and forth between home and work, 15 mins each way. Last week I did a total of 3 hours of just pure walking.

Not to mention that at work I'm on my feet the whole time (except breaks), constantly walking, moving about, carrying crap... usually around eight hours a day of mild exercise I suppose.

That means I had around 50-odd hours of casual exercise last week... jaysus!

Not to mention the lawns, there's another half hour.

1169838 2011-01-15 19:30:00 I used to walk. A lot. I was slim then.
Now that I have arthritis in all sorts of parts, I can't, can barely walk from one end of a mall to another.
So the only exercise now I get is gardening and housework.

Initially the gardening was quite major but now that we have tamed the mess it's not.
However I have discovered one of the neighbours has a noxious plant jungle and have offered to help him clear it.

1169839 2011-01-15 22:14:00 I keep fit by having affairs with all the wives of men out exercising . . . . . ;)

I had to laugh at that one .

You rugby fans need to prize your butts off the couch sometime during the rugby and go for a walk - and notice all the bored housewives who are going for a walk to escape their hubbys endless rugby tedium .

Your obsession with the game is in some cases creating an opportunity for 'opportunists' .

1169841 2011-01-15 22:41:00 Apparently swimming is supposed to be a great exercise regime so I am told. Snorkbox (15764)
1169842 2011-01-15 23:54:00 I enjoy the gym, try to go twice a week. Plug my itouch into most of the gear means I can listen to my own music and watch videos, nice time to myself (mind due pushing 33C today, think the gym can get stuffed, was going to go)

Beyond that the dogs take me walkies a few times a week.

1169843 2011-01-16 00:11:00 I dunno about you guys, but in Auckland uni gym it can be pretty hard to have 'time to yourself' as many delusional skinnier-than-you dudes would try to distract you by showing off their 15kg bicep curls right behind you. qazwsxokmijn (102)

1169845 2011-01-16 00:53:00 Yesterday i grabbed the Sony WEGA 29inch flat screen crt tv (bought mid 2004 brand new) outta my parents room as i was sick of my old Sony Trinitron.

That 29 inch tv was the most heaviest tv i have ever come across. It was litterally around 50kg! no joke. My Shoulders are still sore from moving it from one end of the house to my bedroom.

My dad want's it back in his room, but me and mum are both in agreement that it looks better and is safer in my room. Plus nobody is gonna try to lift that thing. Plus, it has Nicam Stereo and 3 AV imputs which is perfect for all my stuff.

My old Sony Trinitron 25inch was mono, had 1 av imput, and i had to watch tv thru my vcr due to the channels looking like **** on its own tv tuner.
