Do you have a Symantec (Norton) product installed? you could try this (from here (www.vistax64.com)) It turns out that if you remove access to the Typelib key for the player, you'll see exactly this problem. The key in question is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software\Classes\ Typelib\{6BF52A50-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6} On machines exhibiting this problem so far, they've uninstalled Nortion Internet Security 2007(?) and subsequently the player itself gets access denied against this registry key. That's bad. A quick work-around (not a solution) is to replicate the above registry key and subkeys under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Classes\Typelib\{6BF52A50-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6}\ 1.0\0\win32 |

So Ill just delete the original admin account and use the account that works. I could not keep my PCs going if it wasnt for all your support. Truly Grateful |
