But what I was told is the more muscle you have the less agile and flexible you'll become etc. Mate of mine dropped his powerlifting cause he loves his futsal and said getting muscle would hinder his agility. |

I'm not sure how that relates to cycling, But just try whatever and do what suits you personally. Agility is good, But I'm a big guy so its something I notice lacking. For me I want all the benefits, not just strength, but having said that I have always been the strongest in most social groups, to the point that people knock on my door when they need some heavy lifting. |
