1169826 2011-01-15 08:00:00 Good sex is better exercise than a run round the block, and one hell of a lot more enjoyable.

And it is important to enjoys one's exercise, if one wants to get into a regular exercise habit.

1169827 2011-01-15 08:02:00 I keep fit by having affairs with all the wives of men out exercising . . . . . ;)

I cycle around Mosgiel/Taieri quite a bit, go walking after dinner, a bit of gardening etc .

Even bad sex is infinitely more enjoyably then a run around the block, Having said that, The only thing known to mankind that is better then bad sex is good sex.

1169830 2011-01-15 08:47:00 Seems like we have quite a few cyclists here in PF1. I'm sorta keen on cycling but keep getting conflicting info regarding its suitability with powerlifting. :S qazwsxokmijn (102)

I'm not sure myself, I'm still learning about this whole thing. But what I was told is the more muscle you have the less agile and flexible you'll become etc. Mate of mine dropped his powerlifting cause he loves his futsal and said getting muscle would hinder his agility.

I'm not sure how that relates to cycling, But just try whatever and do what suits you personally.

Agility is good, But I'm a big guy so its something I notice lacking. For me I want all the benefits, not just strength, but having said that I have always been the strongest in most social groups, to the point that people knock on my door when they need some heavy lifting.

Try walking!
