I think with a bit of control this could be a great sport. Would love to give it a try.
Any one know what type of trikes they are??

1170891 2011-01-19 06:54:00 Front page of the Press too. Idiots are only promoting it. See we already have someone wanting to give it a try in this thread.. --Wolf-- (128)
1170892 2011-01-19 06:57:00 There was a bit on Close Up on TV1 tonight about it. Mark interviewed a Senior Sergeant and a young person who is involved in drift trikes. They both had their say. It seems that they like to race when there is little traffic on the road ie in the early hours of the morning. Bobh (5192)

1170896 2011-01-19 10:50:00 As a kid, I used to do the same sort of thing with those kiddy/baby push bikes. Me and a couple of mates used to go round the inorganics and pull them out if they were alright, and then we'd go doing pretty much this down the street, sliding and having great fun at slow to moderate speeds. Of course, ours was a pretty quiet street in west harbor, and the only person who ever nearly hit us was this one bag of a lady who would never slow down and intentionally try to kill us. But yeah that was more than 10 years ago. And 8ftmetalhaed (14526)
1170897 2011-01-19 11:58:00 I didnt know there were hills in Christchurch.....wow

Yep. Port hills, bordering along the southern edge of Chch, got the, er, ah, port, on the other side. Got the Transmitter on the top of Sugarloaf.

One day I was stupid enough to walk from Phillipstown, right to the damn top. Stood right beside the antenna. Then promptly said fk this and hitch-hiked down.

Looks like the Police don't want to make a big issue of it.
