1170619 2011-01-18 08:56:00 Brings back memories. My very first computer was a Commodore VIC 20 which I expanded to a huge 32k. It was tape driven and you used the TV for a screen. The trick was to go and boil the jug and make a cup of coffee while you waited for the programme to load. I then got a Commodore 64, then an Amiga 2000 and finally an SX IBM compatible.

I believe that Commodore went broke.

My laptop beats that mac.

Since I switched to Ubuntu I've been using Suspend to RAM instead of Hibernate.

1170624 2011-01-18 11:05:00 Why boot when there's no need to? ubergeek85 (131)
1170625 2011-01-18 20:54:00 Hey ubergeek,

I hope to not distract this thread but do you still have the monopoly file mentioned here: pressf1.pcworld.co.nz

Just curious if you still had it floating around 'cause the link has expired. Thanks.
