1203518 2011-05-20 04:45:00 I have a flash drive that has my repair programs on it, I plugged it into a very infected machine (silly me), got an Autorun.inf virus on it (with others), have cleaned it up but now all the folders are set to the Hidden attribute (cant change back as check box greyed out) and can only view them if View set to Show All Hidden Files/Folders (the files within those folders are not hidden).

Tried messing about changing attributes in a command prompt window with limited success.

Yeah I know I should have backed it up .

Is there any easy way to rectify this?
(Am using W7Ult).

What do you mean limited success? This is what I would do.

1203520 2011-05-20 22:57:00 I've used a little program called usb show from here (http://ldcmx.info) It's in spanish but is a simple option & it works. BigBadBob (14963)
1203521 2011-05-21 01:32:00 I could only unhide 4 of 20 folders, could see no difference between them, just didnt work; never mind, not worth the aggravation, I'll just remake it.

Sorry Bob, I tried your prog, but it comes up as having virus-like behaviour (suspicious cloud.2 (www.google.co.nz)) when executed, a pity.

1203524 2011-05-23 01:32:00 Run the following command from the root of the Flash drive and report back
attrib -h -s -r *.* /D /S

1203525 2011-05-23 01:53:00 Oh, you must open command prompt in Administrator mode before running the command in the previous post tmrafi (5179)
