| 1205071 | 2011-05-27 05:32:00 | The kids just turned on this machine, opened up Chrome, MP3 Rocket and something else. Apparently the machine froze and they did the 3 finger salute and got the BSOD. They were offered the option of pressing F8 which they did and this was the result. Virus or faulty video card? MSSE and Malwarebytes last scan was yesterday. |

| 1205073 | 2011-05-27 11:07:00 | It boots up OK then hangs during the boot. A techie friend of my wife seems to think that the HDD is in it's death throes but I can't find what sort of HDD to buy to replace it - Acer isn't exactly forthcoming when it comes to system specs... |

| 1205075 | 2011-05-27 11:54:00 | Check the HDD health with Speedfan, it might be getting bad sectors. If it is it may be going to fail soon. Most likely it would be a standard 3.5" drive with either an IDE or SATA interface. You can tell just by looking at it. |
