1204845 2011-05-25 13:12:00 Prefect,

Do you have broadband on this PC and have an ADSL modem connected as well?

If so then I would remove the dialup Lucent Modem as a first step as it's fairly ancient.

1204846 2011-05-25 18:54:00 How can I only do anything if it on bootup it goes to bsod? prefect (6291)
1204847 2011-05-25 20:32:00 Prefect,

Can you open the case and remove the dialup Lucent Modem if you are capable of doing so?

Also have you tried using a boot CD/DVD like your original O/S and boot off that?

As well I think you had a tech not far from you as I remember it from one of your other posts.

I was trying to help but if you can't remove the Lucent Modem or answer the questions I posed then I'm stuck I guess.
