| 1171539 | 2011-06-10 01:16:00 | Anyone have a link to the demo? You could get an 'unofficial' version from a certain website. No steam required, I assume. |

| 1171540 | 2011-06-10 10:09:00 | Do not buy this install mess. Ok I bought the Game from The Warehouse. Despite the install files being on the disk.... It wants to download the game from Steam. 6gig download even though I bought the install DVD huh ??? I cannot play the game off the DVD. Next time I'll just pirate the thing. Great way to put off legit buyers. |

| 1171541 | 2011-06-10 10:27:00 | For those with install issue: if steam wants to download the whole game via interent. Just keep running the install from the DVD (setup.exe). May take quite a few re-install attempts untill it decides to install from DVD instead of 6Gb internet download. No thanks for steam help files. Found the fix on another forum. This may be the last game I ever buy. Just soo much easier to pirate the things . even though I'd rather not. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: |

| 1171544 | 2011-06-13 02:52:00 | Steam has it's good points but I'd agree that it's more of an annoyance than anything. Anyway, game arrived from Mighty Ape on friday. I played it over the weekend and am enjoying it. There are a few bits I don't like and the graphics while good aren't amazing by today's standards. There is a lot of profanity, nudity(well close), one liners, toilet humour - all as expected :) The weapons so far are all very familiar RPG, Devastator, Railgun, ripper, shotgun and a few others, I just found a shrink ray :) You are limited to carrying two weapons at a time so when you find a new one you have to discard one to equip it. There are times when you have to spam the space bar to open doors etc - they should not have done that as it's no fun at all. Also finding your way out of an area can sometimes be frustrating with no in game indication of where to go. Then again I just spent an hour driving a monster truck, running down pig cops and jumping over obstacles with turbo boost. Great Fun. I'd forgotten the satisfaction of lobbing pipebombs at things, or chucking a tripmine in the path of incoming enemies :) All in all a fun game for those who are not easily offended, definately not for the kids so take the R18 rating seriously. After 14 years of waiting it couldn't possibly live up to the expectations, but forget that and it's pretty good. I'd rate it 7.5~8 / 10 |
