1171686 2011-01-23 05:55:00 Sea Shepherd don't throw bottles at the workers, they are thrown onto the decks, aimed away from people.

So, you would still "see the difference" if I fired a few rounds at your car while you went bout your days business?

1171687 2011-01-23 07:02:00 Regardless of whether people are on the deck or not, no whalers have been hit with bottles or projectiles to date.

So now it's regardless of whether people are there or not?
And is that a fact that none have been hit.... according to who?

Depends which side of the fence you shot your whale on I guess.

Although I don't like whaling I think there are better ways to sink a ship than what has been done to date.

1171689 2011-01-23 07:56:00 Sea Shepherd have a well documented history of distorting facts, only reporting what they believe is favorable to the picture they are trying to present and telling outright lies to further the "cause". One has to wonder who is making money out of their operation. Certainly most of the crew appear to be true believers who work for love and glory not cash. The captain never seems to be short of money though.
And no I do not particularly like the Japs. Nor do I like seeing whales killed. Come to think of it I do not like watching sheep or stock killed either but I do enjoy eating beef and lamb.

They have a job to do and that is stop the whaling, about time they got serious and starting shooting japs.

The cause of the crew member injury in that case was a lie. The men who had burns on their faces are from firing a jet of pepper spray into the wind, and having it come back onto them. Funnily enough SSCS has it on camera.

Video: www.youtube.com (Notice how they immediately react to the spray and start rubbing their faces)

Unfortunately the way the Japanese legal system works it is hard to defend yourself, especially if you are a) foreign, b) a political prisoner.
