1172419 2011-01-29 04:28:00 Ok, these lyrics are purely hypothetical, but they may give you an idea:

"Baby I
am a fool but I try
coz you know that baby-oh baby, baby
baby I"

And then later on I think it goes:

"I know its oooverr
???? can't let you goo
You say ????
?????
Baby I
am a fool but I try
coz you know that baby-oh baby, baby
baby I"

I might have thrown you off a little with the "Spirit in the Sky" like guitar style. Im trying to think whose guitar style is closest

Rolling stones - Fool to cry? (www.youtube.com) lyrics don't quite match up though

1172424 2011-01-29 09:20:00 Any idea whereabouts the band was from and rock type? (glamor, punk rock, glitter rock, hard, soft, etc).

British groups I recall with some of your lyrics include Staus Quo, Edison Lighthouse, Thin Lizzy, The Police, Black Sabbath, The Sweet, and Moody Blues.

More likely something like Rick Springfield but I am pretty sure it is not him - just not 100% sure

Surely not - The Beatles, "I want to hold your hand" ?? As soon as I heard your recording that song came straight to mind.

Maybe someone did a remake.
