| 1204487 | 2011-05-24 07:00:00 | Good call, that one too :D. Perhaps we could do a deal with the mods - resurrect the fridge & airplane threads in exchange for locking this (pressf1.co.nz) and this (pressf1.co.nz). Agreed. There again I am beginning to think that some threads get closed depending on the monthly cycle as in moons for example. |

| 1204488 | 2011-05-25 12:00:00 | I'm not Jen, but as I understand it threads are autolocked after three months without a new post, in order to prevent necrobumping (en.wikipedia.org(Internet)#Necrobumps). You are correct (as always). You have won a prize for this, but you have 24 hrs to collect it ... ;) |

To whom and via what medium should I submit my claim application? Never figured I'd win something for not being you, but I guess there's a first time for everything... |

| 1204494 | 2011-05-27 06:28:00 | Hi Strommer Thanks for the link to CNet . Appears the Editor is a fan of Secunia PSI as are most of their Users . Have read a number of the User's opinions and are amazed by comments such as "this program should be on every computer" . Couldn't agree more!! If in doubt how great this program is, give it a fair go for a week . If you are not a fan after one day, you never will be, so just uninstall it . It costs you nothing to find out . Be aware Secunia does send information about programs installed on your computer to their severs . It is quite clearly stated on install . As for my experience with the program, Secunia quickly found a number of vulnerablities in my system . This came as a hellva surprise to me as I thought my efforts of updating software and drivers were pretty good . My Security Rating at the start was only 86%!! What was surpising too was the amount of outdated software on my computer . Now with Secunia PSI help I'm scoring 100% . For anyone doubting this program, consider this . Would your system score a 100% Security Rating right now . To get this all software has to be updated and patched, with no outdated programs . If not, your system is open for attack . Suggest you go to Strommer's CNet Link and read what others say about Secuia . BURNZEE |

First watch the BURNZEE So basically this is an extra layer of bloat? doesn't Windows update do exactly the same thing? |
