1171990 2011-01-23 23:50:00 Hi

Some might find this link interesting. For instance - in Oz I'd make 42% more money - in the Us 69.9% more. Not sure how it arrives at that cos it doesn't know my job.
By default it wants to start you of as living in the US but if you pick your country from the list in blue in the lower part of the page you can then pick other countries. IfItWereMyHome.com

Bollocks. Its generic.
Here as an PC tech I'd make the same as I would in Australia. I've looked it up on vrious jobs.
OK AUS $ versus NZ$. But no difference.
Note I am not talking other IT roles, just tech.

1171994 2011-01-24 00:47:00 Damn....I didn't know NZ was that much bigger than the UK!

I note it uses Mt Vic in Wellyvegas when comparing the size....I wonder if that's like some central geographical point in NZ or summat...:illogical

I suspect that it's using an exchange as the point of reference - I'm in Auckland CBD and it's using Mt Eden....

Yep even though I'm not working it's still paradise.

Link doesn't work anyway as I live on the mainland not the daft north

ah. okaaay. Makes sense.

Clearly you're not a born and bred Aucklander or else you would have claimed it as the centre of the universe!
