2011-01-29 22:59:00 | how much storage do you have on your person on any normal day? I am thinking flash drives, SD cards, phones and such like. things you have on you 90% of the day, things you would find in your pocket on average day.. so laptops don't count. my list: 32GB iphone. 16GB flash drive, (work stuff) 16GB flash drive from DSE. (personal stuff) 4GB SD card in wallet. (bootable install of linux) 4GB flash drive. (random stuff) 1GB ironkey (secure stuff) total = 73gb. I own about another 25GB of flash drives (many 1,2 and 4GB) , but don't carry them on a day to day basis...

2011-01-29 23:11:00 | Travelling with the laptop is x4 320 External Drives x2 500 External Drives. x1 12gb Flash Drive. x4 8gb Flash Drives. x5 5gb Flash Drives. And just counted 12 of 1 & 2gb flash drives. And will be this afternoon heading into the CBD to see about getting a couple more 320 or 500gb portable drives that will be only be used at specific locations. One 500gb is all music and movies, very handy when waiting in airports or at remote locations. Various documents, files, etc spread across the remaining 320 and 500gb drives specific to locations. Couple of the small flash drives have various malware and virus tools, programs etc on them. Rest contain files specific to locations. No storage on either of my cellfones, they are just your basic everyday phones. Only other storage is the digital cards in my Nikon camera's.

2011-01-29 23:30:00 | Just brought an 8 GB flash drive about 2 weeks ago, and installed that NT password reset program on it. To fix a rellie's PC up (to kill the password on it). Since, she forgot it. Ive got a 4 GB and a 2 GB flash drive, but probably wont use them again. Besides that just the 1 TB on this. And a 2 GB card on the camera. Might buy an 8 GB card for the cell, when I can be bothered getting 1 Oops, and a 60 GB Video Ipod

2011-01-29 23:31:00 | prob one of the least geeks here :D on my phone 2GB. but i don't really take my 2GB USB stick. if was course or work related, i just tended to email stuff home. plus that many places disable the USB ports with their policies. I might use the USB stick at home between computers when wireless is too slow. when i travel overseas, maybe just 4 or 8GB with my camera in addition to the phone. don't carry a laptop and never will as i go for shortish holidays only. when all i take is 6kg, any laptop/netbook becomes too much for me. i just listen to mp3 on flight or buy a book or mag and then leave it at the arrival airport for others to pick up. i only use HDs at home, portable HDs as well for that matter maybe in future i put it at a safe deposit box. i only have 1x USB stick, got that quite recently, a few memory cards when i bought a used dSLR camera, maybe 4GB in total, i myself have only bought 3 mem card, the 500MB, the 2GB and a 16GB. Also got a 2GB in my handheld (dedicated) GPS but don't use that often given the maps cost $100US each.

2011-01-30 02:37:00 | My phone has 16GB built-in memory and a 4GB MicroSD card. My wallet contains two 512MB SD cards, and I normally have an 8GB flash drive on my keyring. So 29GB. | george12 (7) | |
