| 1172943 | 2011-01-27 09:06:00 | Just had a call from a charming Indian gentleman offering me a free holiday. All I needed to do was pay a small fee of about $300 (I wasn't listening as well as I could have). I managed to string him along for enough time to get the web address (reachdesire.com.au) which is long on glitz and short on information, then he hung up on me. Next thing you know his manager rang (oh dear, we dropped the call, so sorry, now where were we? Oh yes, what credit card to you hold........... So, I think it was simply a card number harvesting scheme with cash bonus (for them) attached. I'll bet they would have asked for the security number too! The anti-virus guys don't love me any more either, I haven't had a call since the last one. (Is that an oxymoron or what?) Cheers Billy 8-{) :D |
