2011-01-30 08:14:00 | Ok i have a fuji finepix...... s5000 model i think? cant recall at this exact moment. I have a large memory card on it and was attempting to record over the weekend....... but alas, it records for 25 seconds then says its busy and then stores and goes into standby ready to record mode...... hardly ever used the video record option before and want to know why it will only record 25 seconds and how the heck can i change it? was recording a horse / rider doing a competition and so missed most of the even due the busy . storing mode....... Help please? beetle

I don't know about video but photography, you the cheaper slower ones for point and shoot cams and you have faster ones for 8 frames per second for SLRs. But .. have you tried other memory cards? Reducing hte video quality not an option? |

2011-01-30 10:50:00 | Also how big is the memory card??, as the more space you have on the memory card, the longer the video you can take. Also for those sorts of events, I would use a proper video camera

2011-01-30 19:50:00 | The size memory card is XD 1GB last time i used it as well, but didnt really notice or bother me then. and no i dont use this option very much, and i dont have the $$ to get a video recorder at moment, and really its way down on the list of priorities of importance. Just wondering if any of the gurus could help thats all. Off to work now, spot ya later. beetle :)

2011-01-31 09:43:00 | It might point to an issue with the card :( It might pay to get another card, but try again by taking the card in and out repeatedly and format it again using the camera more than once and see if it returns. Some people just stick to Sandisk brand and get them from reputable sources to avoid counterfeits (I have one of those .. ). Maybe you are lucky - do you have a card reader? Just copy the files using My Computer.
