Be good to see the last of that dictator, never liked him too friendly to isreal. Now they have the Sinai back they should be helping the Palestinians who are under occupation. The Russe in 1917 and The Iranians in 1979 didnt need the internet in their revolution. |

| 1173378 | 2011-01-29 07:56:00 | Yes and I remember there was a big street protest in Serbia (Belgrade) about 15 years ago, I could not believe the number of people they got out on the streets. It seems to me that in general the Tunisian army and police and the same with Egypt did not want to fire on their people, and indeed they may have helped them. Compare that to the brutality that put down the Iranian revolt last year (and their secret police) that went on for days, but they shut it down. Funny how many corrupt dictators flee and end up in Saudi Arabia. |

I always thought that the internet would be the last hold-out and one of the last things to go down when the US publicly invokes martial law. Looks like the star chambers are getting ideas now and this is not gonna be good. |

Just want we need, more fanatical Muslim states in the Middle East.. | paulw (1826) | ||

Just want we need, more fanatical Muslim states in the Middle East.. And about time they scrapped the peace treaty. No way Egypt will become an Islamic state because 10% of the population are christians. Egyptians never really super religious anyway. |
