I would like to ask those in the know whether or not they, or anyone they know, have a book that is rare and is not on sale anywhere in NZ and ridiculously priced elsewhere. Cheapest one I found was in Aussie and priced at 102AUD!!! Thanks in advance! |

And then there is shipping on top of that! If you do a search at nzlc.natlib.govt.nz you will find out which libraries in NZ have copies that you could get on interloan via your local library. Judging by the multiple copy holdings it is probably in your local library anyway, thus saving you the $1.50 interloan fee. |

Yep, have already requested for a copy to be delivered to my local library, but I would like to keep a copy of both of George Adamson's books. I've already got his 1968 one, which I enjoyed immensely. I've also got about half of the books written by his wife, Joy Adamson. Hey PC, just tried Hard To Find Books, no luck. :( I haven't heard of Gerald Durrell before.....just wiki'd him, looks like an interesting bloke. Have you got his books? |
