1175182 2011-02-04 05:23:00 I know a few that are travelling out of Wellington or staying in to avoid the drama.

Looks like a group of gay guys hugging each other :p
When we do host the world cup, I hope to be overseas.

Does the place just come to a stand still, people take off leave or go on sick leave, taking up hospital capacity and denying others service. Go dancing with strangers and then whatever goes on later ...

What is this about the rugby, do people really go overseas and talk to others about the rugby and the hakka :punk

Ps. Have messaged the mod to put in the correct forum. My oversight. Apologies..

1175183 2011-02-04 05:26:00 Rugby? :D

When the Rugby World Cup comes to Auckland, I plan to go to Kingsland and walk in the opposite direction to the crowds just to stuff it up :D

1175184 2011-02-04 05:33:00 No I dont watch it either. Dont think I'll bother watching the 7's either Speedy Gonzales (78)
1175185 2011-02-04 05:34:00 I hate rugby. Or rather, I hate how overzealously proud new zealanders are of rugby. But then at the same time, I'm not a fan of NFL people either. Soccer's a bit more worldwide, but still it has its moments of idiocy. Cricket's so boring I don't know why it's even televised, and the only possible reason I could think of to watch tennis would be for the women running around in their skirts and knickers. And i don't want to watch that either.

I just hate sports on TV. I'd much rather be watching cartoons or some documentary or something. Or playing the sport.

But if I recall correctly, as a recalcitrant South Auckland youth, you're going to have to join the crowds getting from SA to Kingsland anyway, in order to walk in the opposite direction ...

So what's that going to prove? ;)

1175191 2011-02-04 08:30:00 I am not a huge fan of rugby. When there is a game on generally the topic of conversation is, "Who do you think will win the big game tonight?".

This can take me by surprise as quite often I am not aware that a big game is to be played or who is playing. I usually answer, "We will I hope". Too bad if its a game, for example, between South Africa and Australia.
