1175243 2011-02-05 06:48:00 Its just like any national sport for any country

Yup, it's just entertainment . Pick any country on any continent, if one does a lot of travel into the off beaten track you get to see where most locals or most tourists go to . It's just a big party . It just comes down socialising, the drinks, the food, the noise and that they become the 'subject' . It's just about self benefits .

Sports is a big thing, casino is just as big and that comes with the sleaze even in a place like Singapore, likewise drinks, just the quality, it's just the environment to make a stance .

1175246 2011-02-05 07:49:00 Rubgy. No, can't stand it. Go the All Blacks thou, but can't wait till this world cup thing is over. radium (8645)
1175247 2011-02-05 07:54:00 I cannot wait till 27 Nov 10 . By that time we will have been driven mad by rugby followed by the election campaign .

Sports and politics should have their own channels so that people who want to watch them can go to that channel if they wish . Channel One appears to have been hijacked by Rugby World Sevens:annoyed: at the moment . Why not have it on the freeview sports channel .

1175248 2011-02-05 08:15:00 Ask the TV station. Altho, AFAIK there is no sports channel. On DVB-T anyway. Politics does have it own channel, its called parliament Speedy Gonzales (78)
1175249 2011-02-05 08:32:00 If someone could please tell me when the World Cup starts and ends I will take an overseas holiday in a remote part of the world which has no affiliation with any sport whatsoever. I might even go two weeks earlier and return two weeks later, in order to avoid all the lead up to and tail off!

1175250 2011-02-05 08:33:00 I am not interested in rugby at all. Much more interesting sports to watch other than rugby on the TV. QW. (15883)
1175251 2011-02-05 08:39:00 I am originally from England way back.
We invented football, rugby and cricket.
English teams are called England.

(John Dawes taught me how to play rugby - badly me not him)

I prefer to watch one day cricket.
