1175081 2011-02-04 00:20:00 They obviously claim to be some sort of employment agency.

I could not find a physical address or phone number on the web site. They do have a hotmail email address. I found that the cost had been reduced from $149.95 to $49.90 and payment is thru paypal. At the 'Join Me' button they show what looks like a wad of US dollars. I had a closer look at the notes I could see the figure 100 on them and it was hard to identify anything else on the notes. Can anybody identify the bald gentleman on the notes.

This scam could be from the USA and aimed at New Zealanders and Australians.

I will not be not be rushing to sign up.

1175083 2011-02-04 01:09:00 I have been paid for surveys for numerous reviews of NZ products/services before being released, mainly at NZ valued opinions, and other online avenues. Certainly not 500 bucks a day, might take at least 8 months. But the advertisers/marketing companies mainly found me through my own review/tutorial web sites.

But for data entry, I did in early days of the net, along with paid search ad clicks, but too tedious and uninspiring. Only made lunch money then. Don't know about today, might be better off, if they are good at writing, get paid with hub pages, squidoo, helium com, and some forum sites, e.g. cash crate or mylot. They work if you are good, have ample time, and feel competent to compete against professional writers, journalists, internet marketers, SEO Pro's etc, globally.

1175085 2011-02-04 01:30:00 Read through the ad again .... spelling & grammar don't seem correct and it sounds like it's been prepared by a person(s) to whom English is a second language ..... or they flunked out in their first year of high school.

I think rip off ... but waiting patiently for someone to try it and report findings ... :D

This is a typical ploy to get people to rush in and shell out their money before it is too late. This adds to my suspicions. It would be different if they were selling merchandise and they had only six of an item left in stock.

1175089 2011-02-04 02:33:00 Usually it's part of a pyramid scheme. You convince others to sign up to this "business" and the business is simply conning others into signing up for the same "business". The catch is that to join, they have to buy a "book" or something for USD$50 or whatever, and that's how you make your money. Chilling_Silence (9)

Just did some checking, the wad of notes are US one hundred dollar notes. The bald gentleman is Bengamin Franklin (en.wikipedia.org).
