1175840 2011-02-07 03:29:00 Came across this (skwire.dcmembers.com). It's portable, the countup times save themselves so can be continued later, the countdown times allow you to nominate your own alarm sound (The boiled egg is done.wav ;). But what would you use it for? Does my head in to think of a situation where you'd need 20 timers going simultaneously!! :illogical tuiruru (12277)

(Done that - not 20, but cooked sides.)

1175843 2011-02-07 06:40:00 There's so many timers around they kind of seem redundant now, but to be able to time a load of things in parallel like that might be useful. (like above, but say, meal prep where lots of things are ready at different times or things need to be done to the items being prepared at other times) edit - i guess that is like above innit? but still, yes. 8ftmetalhaed (14526)
1175844 2011-02-07 09:15:00 20 runners in a raceBut while 10 are going up, 10 are coming down. So I guess you could time the ones going backwards as well, or use it to test the time dilation (hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu) predicted Einstein's Theory of Relativity :stare: tuiruru (12277)
