1175095 2011-02-04 00:31:00 Hey Guys

I got a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro phone and run through the Orcon network.

I got this information from Orcon

APN Name: Orcon MMS
APN: wap.orcon.net.nz
Username & Password: No username or password
MMSC / Home address: orcon.nzmms.net.nz
MMS Proxy: 172.030.038.003
MMS Port: 8080

But I can't get it too work.
Does anyone have any experience they can offer on this?

1175097 2011-02-04 00:57:00 Well since Orcon runs through Vodafone, I have added both APN's for each of them, lets see if that helps. DeSade (984)
1175098 2011-02-04 01:17:00 Ok no luck with the vodafone APN's added, anyone got this phone on Orcon and has it working? DeSade (984)
1175099 2011-02-04 01:53:00 I'd ring Orcon and have a moan at them? :D Chilling_Silence (9)
1175100 2011-02-04 02:03:00 They don't want to know cause its not one of their "supported" phones. DeSade (984)
1175101 2011-02-04 02:34:00 Tell them you have just gone out and purchased a HTC Legend. It's also running Android-2.1 (Eclair), just like the X10 Mini Pro.

The HTC Legend is on their site as a supported device.... Easy! :D

Not sure what they can tell me, I have copied their APN settings exactly....

1175103 2011-02-04 04:38:00 In your normal APN, apn type needs to be set to default (while the pxt one is set to apn type:mms) utopian201 (6245)
