1175072 2011-02-03 22:33:00 Why don't you give it a try and report back with your findings?

1175074 2011-02-03 22:34:00 I've never tried one, but my understanding is that most are scams. You pay to take part, and then there are very few (if any) rewards. Siobhan Keogh (16063)

It's what I was thinking. I've got a couple of "little old ladies" thinking of doing it - they hadn't even realised that the prices quoted might be in $US.. I'm trying to get outside "expert" opinion so that at least they are forewarned!

1175080 2011-02-03 22:56:00 I smell a rip off, too. This money making scheme by and large only makes money for their website at US$50 a time ....

I'd think you'd be best steering your two little old ladies - and anybody else - away from these schemes. Unless they really want to throw away NZ$65 or so. I'll make them an offer. If they really want to part with NZ$65, I'll give them a cut rate. Just send me the original $50 as NZ$50. They'll save themselves $15, they'll be happy, and I'll be happy.
