That delay reduces the lead that Intel was expected to have over AMD in the introduction of their latest designs and increases the incentive for computer makers to look at AMD's forthcoming Llano chips, said Gus Richard, an analyst at Piper Jaffray. |

The failures will effect a lot of people, biggest loser in the game will be ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI and their customers. We'll have to wait and see what they do about it and whether they'll offer refunds/exchanges here. It won't effect AMD & Intel's little war at all. Just a shame NVIDIA isn't a big player in chipsets anymore, this would have been their greatest pay day. I'm just glad this won't effect MeeGo. |
