| 1208608 | 2011-06-12 10:00:00 | Had perfect service for years from an Epson Stylus Photo R230 printer. Tonight went to print some photos -all, whether colour, black and white or sepia come out a bluey-purple. Any ideas? | Shortstop (632) | ||
| 1208609 | 2011-06-12 11:16:00 | That possibly indicates a lack of cyan, and assuming that you haven't run out of ink (too simple) then some head cleaning may be needed. Failing that, the printhead or maybe even the electronics have died. Might be time to think about a new printer if the simple checks don't fix it, getting it serviced would be an uneconomic option with printers often costing not much more than a set of ink cartridges.
