| 1207989 | 2011-06-09 09:00:00 | Looking to buy a compatible SODIMM of 512MB or 1GB capacity for an ASUS Z9200U laptop that is struggling with the original 256MB (ouch). The current SODIMM is labelled DDR 333MHz CL2.5, PC2700S-25330. SODIMMs with these specs are available but wondered about compatibility with specific laptops. How likely is it that same spec boards will be incompatible with a specific mobo? |

Had it several times (mainly with Compaq) even though the SODIMM modules are the correct and same spec as the original, the simply wont play nice :crying Had a Laptop last year, (cant remember the brand now sorry) tried kingston, Samsung, A-Data, transcend and nothing would work, finally it accepted Corsair. |
