1176078 2011-02-07 19:06:00 Pretty much 90% of the population's top 5 websites have been covered off multiple times for being most dangerous.

Really?!?!

Search Engines, Facebook, Twitter, video streaming websites, flash websites, places with Ads, webmail....

Why not slightly change it and be "Don't go anywhere online" instead?

Or maybe I'm becoming cynical with age ... :p

1176079 2011-02-07 19:09:00 I would have thought in the top 5 is Warez sites, Porn sites first. pctek (84)

1176081 2011-02-07 19:31:00 download.microsoft.com ? ;)

The safest place on the Internet! :D

I would imagine Google itself (not necessarily the search results) to have a blue rating though. :stare:

Well someone once told me after 9 minutes of being connected to the net you're vulnerable to virus'? I'm guessing they're saying these are the most dangerous because 99% of people spend their time on the internet ONLY at these kind of sites?

1176085 2011-02-08 08:49:00 My wife picked up a nasty from a recipe site. I'm with Prefect, porn sites are way safer:lol: Phil B (648)
1176086 2011-02-08 09:32:00 I'd say warez sites (only time I've ever had a problem)

Just answering some emails can get you into trouble as well.

1176087 2011-02-08 10:04:00 When I first got my pc in 2003, I connected it to the net to download updates for norton and i opened the homepage and got a virus 12 minutes after connecting to the net.
Nice.
Norton nabbed it though. While it updated for another 20 minutes due to dialup.
