1175971 2011-02-07 08:00:00 Anyone else had a look at these plans? On the face of it they seems much better value than the current plans:

- Currently paying ~$122 for 20Gb + calling

vs

- Total Home 40Gb for $115

Or am I missing something? :o

1175974 2011-02-07 08:21:00 apparently you can get them contract free too, which is nice.
I still hate telecom on principle but it's good to see some new pricing coming in.

Just for the record, I've been with Telecom for the last 2 . 5 years, complete with crappy Thomson modem, and I get constantly good speeds and I've never had a disconnect .

So yeah, I'm happy where I am . . . . it's just a case of being happier with more for less!! :D

1175977 2011-02-07 11:20:00 The 'so-called' crappy Thomson modem works fine (with good speed) for me for the past years!:D bk T (215)

It requires a one off payment of $99 and no free modem.

1175979 2011-02-07 18:41:00 To get what I get from Slingshot would cost me an additional $10.

Certainly getting closer.

1175980 2011-02-07 19:08:00 Just be very careful you never go over the limit however .

Telecom say this plan is designed for home businesses so they don't throttle the speed after you go over the limit, instead they charge it at $20/GB . So keep an eye on the usage meter ;)
