| 1176176 | 2011-02-09 06:24:00 | Be careful with the ice-packs that you have enough protection between bag and skin so your skin doesn't get frozen. I had this happen to me at a physio clinic. My arm literally had a solid 5cm diameter area of frozen skin - you could tap it, it was so hard :xmouth:. It turned into a freezer burn once it had defrosted. Mind you, the ice-pack wasn't ice-cubes or frozen peas, but some chemical gel pack. Guess they can get really, really cold.:rolleyes: |

Living in Wellington I was paying ~$60 to go the the doctor in normal hours, now that I live in Whangarei, it's $17.50. It costs me $40 in Invercargill for my 6 monthly checkup. Usually have to wait an hour past the appointment time and spend about 5 minutes in the doctors office. |
