1177294 2011-02-12 02:28:00 One of my colleagues has one - he says it's ok, but he's had some random issues with it. somebody (208)
1177295 2011-02-12 02:34:00 random as in?? GameJunkie (72)
1177296 2011-02-12 02:52:00 It's quite a nice phone, but it's lacking in horsepower compared to the current generation of smartphones - it has a 600MHz CPU and 256MB ram. That may be enough for you; depends on what you want to do with it. Erayd (23)
1177297 2011-02-12 03:00:00 random as in??

SMS/phone apps crashing, weird UI glitches/crashes. It doesn't happen often enough to bother him, but it has happened enough times for him to comment about it.

1177298 2011-02-12 03:00:00 i got a while before i "have' to change when they shut down CDMA.

telecom only has 9 android phones on its site, and of those, all have android 1.5/6 except the milestone and the galaxy s which are 2.1 :(

more android phones on telecom in the future??

Bit of a P-off really, now I'll have to get my fourth phone in 18 or so years.:D

Had a Motorola flip-front & car kit that cost me the best part of $1700 if I recall correctly, then had to change when analog went out, so I got four free CDMA phones from Telecom for the whole family, then Mrs T won me a Samsung W531 dual mode jobbie so I swapped to that because I needed to roam in Oz, and now I'll have to get yet another phone.

I wonder if they'll be doing give-aways this time to stop people defecting to Vodafone or one of the other networks? Worth waiting to see I guess.

Anybody know if number portability will apply, network access prefix excepted of course.

Cheers

My father got sent a voucher from telecom when his contract ran out. I think he had to sign for another 24 months, he declined.
